Painting Workshop: Painting Space Marines, Part Two
December 2008·pp. 90–99
THE SHORT VERSION
Fil Dunn and Chad Mierzwa turn a painted Marine army into a more individual force through chapter symbols, rank markings, honours and personal heraldry. Transfers, sculpted pads and freehand all provide routes to the same identity. Specialist colours and commander examples show where conventions vary, while vehicle details add wear, mud and smoke. Chapter and vehicle galleries demonstrate how these markings fit complete models rather than remaining isolated symbols.
