The Battle of Blood Sands

THE SHORT VERSION

Gav Thorpe’s Dark Elves confront Andrew Kenrick’s High Elves in a 2,250-point pitched battle on Ulthuan’s coast. An ill-judged Dragon Prince charge and the Corsairs’ lethal Assassin give the invaders early control, while the High Elf Star Dragon remains a serious threat. Gav finally arranges a trap around the Black Guard; the surviving prince escapes but his army is effectively destroyed. Both players examine risk, charge arcs and costly magic in the aftermath.
