MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 343

Modelling Workshop: Battlezones

July 2008·pp. 96–101

THE SHORT VERSION

The workshop starts by matching a gaming surface to space, budget, games and practical skill. It then constructs a reinforced MDF board, textures it with sand and offers several paint schemes for different worlds. City Ruins and matching bases add a usable terrain collection, while a large cathedral demonstrates a more ambitious destination. The emphasis is on choosing a manageable first board that can support many games and grow with the modeller’s experience.
