A surviving cult altar still channels Chaos power into the battlefield. Holding its immediate surroundings adds a power die for the Daemon army, while losing the site removes one instead. Enemy presence prevents control, so the scenery creates a local contest with a wider magical effect. The feature gives the ruined terrain a clear narrative function and a reason for both armies to commit troops nearby.
