THE SHORT VERSION

A Rohan core under Erkenbrand provides numbers and cavalry, supported by Woses, Fountain Court Guard with Beregond and Boromir from the Fellowship. The allies supply the three specialist roles without sacrificing a substantial main force. At just under seven hundred points the army offers considerable Might and fifty-two models. Mat gives it an alternative-history premise in which Boromir survives Amon Hen and unites the peoples around the White Mountains.

The Black Gate Opens: Mordor Sourcebook
