PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 339

A Mûmak of Harad

March 2008·pp. 80–81

THE SHORT VERSION

The Haradrim Mûmak’s black harness gains restrained grey highlights, keeping its large straps distinct from the paler skin. Dark metallic bases develop into weathered steel studs and chains, with bright silver confined to their sharpest details. Jewellery loops and skull ornaments receive warmer gold finishes. The guide also recommends hardening loose chain before painting and using the side of the brush for irregular sigils that look applied by the beast’s crew.
