Event Profile: Warhammer 40,000 Battlefields

THE SHORT VERSION

The new Battlefields weekend emphasises varied games and social play, drawing on the successful Warhammer event. Participants bring a three-thousand-point collection from which they select different forces for non-standard missions, Cities of Death and doubles Apocalypse games. Part of the collection can include units outside ordinary force organisation. Certificates record everyone’s games, reinforcing the organisers’ aim to provide a broad shared gaming experience rather than a conventional tournament ranking.
