Painting Leather and the Ammo Feed

February 2008·p. 74

THE SHORT VERSION

The Mek’s straps develop from dark brown through reddish flesh tones to fine pale edges. Brown and tan cloth patches use separate Foundation and earth-colour sequences, preserving creases beneath progressively lighter layers. The Snotling repeats the skin and nail methods of its owner but gains red-orange eyes. Treating each patch of the feed as a different material reinforces its crude stitched construction.
