TACTICS·WHITE DWARF 338

The Balanced Approach

February 2008·pp. 82–83

THE SHORT VERSION

Göran Farm combines infantry, detachments, knights, artillery and magic so the army can exploit phases an opponent has neglected. Shooting first removes support units, preserving his own auxiliaries for the decisive fights. Against more defensive forces he advances instead, while fast attackers are delayed by expendable units and awkward charges. Overlapping deployment keeps the wide army compact and allows knights to screen missile troops before moving aside.
