Modelling Workshop: Painting the Baneblade, Part Two

December 2007·pp. 76–83

THE SHORT VERSION

Mark Jones finishes the assembled super-heavy in Cadian green and khaki camouflage, keeping the pattern continuous across the hull and turret. Recess washes define panels and rivets before restrained drybrushing and edge highlights reveal the tank’s mass. Crew, lenses, tracks and rust receive separate treatments, followed by chips, dirt and transfers. Detachable subassemblies preserve access throughout the process, while the final varnish protects the finished model for play.
