Citadel Toolbox: Static Grass
June 2007·p. 59
THE SHORT VERSION
Small, irregular patches of static grass make a miniature’s base more convincing than a uniform blanket. The guide shows a quick adhesive method for individual models and a broader flocking process for hills, applying contrasting patches before the dominant colour. Recovering excess material and allowing each stage to dry produces a durable landscape whose varied surface resembles natural ground rather than artificial turf.
