THE SHORT VERSION

Mat Ward’s Rangers and Elven twins are trapped by Graham Davey’s orcs, wargs and three trolls. Early Ranger resistance cannot prevent Arathorn exhausting his Might and dying surrounded by enemies, after which failed courage tests unravel the force. Elladan nearly kills Buhrdûr, but the surviving troll’s presence keeps Evil steady and completes a decisive victory, leaving both players to assess terrain use and concentration of force.
