TACTICS·WHITE DWARF 323

Versatile Cavalry

November 2006·p. 90

THE SHORT VERSION

Riders of Rohan and Warg Riders combine enough protection with varied weapons to act as either skirmishers or an assault threat. Throwing spears are costly but add another way to affect the approach, and a Warg may remain dangerous after its rider falls. The suggested outflanking plan uses that flexibility to make spear-supported infantry either spread out or accept the threat of a rear attack.
