Blending: Gotrek’s Skin

July 2006·p. 48

THE SHORT VERSION

Kirsten Williams demonstrates how thin intermediate layers can remove visible boundaries between highlights on Gotrek’s skin. The sequence combines carefully placed Flesh Wash, progressively paler flesh mixes and a final unifying glaze, with extra contrast for scars and restrained blue tattoos. Companion recipes develop the axe, fiery hair, trousers and gold, showing how the same controlled layering and selective glazing can serve very different surfaces.
