Modelling Workshop: Scout Snipers

June 2006·pp. 78–81

THE SHORT VERSION

The plastic Scout kit is assembled with attention to the matching torsos, legs and weapon arms before the guide moves into personalised Blood Angels and other Chapter examples. Equipment, head swaps, ropes and scenic cover make the lightly armoured Marines look prepared for a particular mission. A kneeling boltgun conversion shows how cutting and pinning the hands and forearms can produce a convincing pose rather than forcing a mismatched weapon onto an otherwise finished body.
