Painting Blood Ravens
June 2006·p. 100
THE SHORT VERSION
The Blood Ravens palette layers Scab Red, Red Gore and Blood Red for the armour, contrasting it with shoulder pads and robes developed from Snakebite Leather through Bubonic Brown to Bleached Bone. Green lenses and seals provide small bright accents. Brown weapon details and a related progression across the bases keep the completed infantry coherent without allowing the scenery to compete with the red armour.
