Tallarn Desert Combat: Raider Patrol

April 2006·pp. 66–67

THE SHORT VERSION

Pete Jarman returns to his favourite metal Guard regiment with a four-hundred-point scouting force. A basic infantry platoon supplies numbers, Veterans add dependable shooting, Rough Riders provide a carefully timed assault and a Sentinel addresses armoured transports. His restrained desert palette makes the models a coherent group. Future expansion would bring mechanised troops and converted Ogryns rather than simply applying every available doctrine to the small patrol.
