Colours of Rohan: Red Leather Details

April 2006·p. 80

THE SHORT VERSION

The red leather recipe moves from Scab Red to Red Gore, then lightens the latter with Bronzed Flesh. A warm flesh addition softens the final highlight instead of producing an unrelated pale edge. Used selectively on straps and decorated equipment, the red can stand out from the darker leather without dominating the whole model. The wheel names each stage for consistent repetition.
