THE SHORT VERSION

The mixed Dwarf army anchors one end of its line against a board edge and uses combat troops to protect the other, forcing a faster enemy onto a narrower front. Artillery and missile troops weaken advancing units while Slayers delay dangerous opposition near the open flank. A centrally placed Battle Standard and general improve the resilience of the counterattacking infantry. The list also illustrates how an army deal and battalion can form a workable force rather than merely a convenient purchase.
