THE SHORT VERSION

Four approaches create gold on engraved metal. A Brazen Brass base can be drybrushed or carefully layered with Shining Gold and silver-mixed highlights; a Dwarf Bronze alternative rises through Shining Gold to Burnished Gold. Over white, a Brown Ink and Flesh Wash mixture supplies warm shading before Burnished Gold restores the flat areas. The recipes demonstrate how different base colours and application methods change the depth of the finished ornament.

Games Day 2005: On with the Show!
