RULES·WHITE DWARF 313

The Return to Dwarrowdelf

January 2006·pp. 102–109

THE SHORT VERSION

Mat Ward revisits Moria as a three-dimensional battlefield of platforms, ladders and hazardous stonework. Broken walkways, recoverable weapons, valuable mine workings and the Throne of Acclamation change movement, objectives and combat behaviour. Optional darkness, tremors and unstable footing make the underground realm less predictable. Terrain-building instructions accompany a scenario in which Durin’s defenders must survive the Balrog and an unending Goblin tide long enough to earn a final act of resistance.
