By Axe and Gun: Collecting a Dwarf Army
January 2006·pp. 46–51
THE SHORT VERSION
Three 2,000-point Dwarf armies demonstrate mixed, shooting-heavy and aggressive approaches. The mixed force narrows the enemy’s frontage with a refused flank, the gun line prioritizes fast threats while using Rangers and a Gyrocopter to delay them, and the assault force advances behind Strollaz’s Rune. Slayers anchor flanks and characters add decisive combat power. Each list explains how deployment and supporting units compensate for the army’s slow movement rather than assuming artillery alone will win.
