Frode Rage Olsen develops a Moria collection by painting the models needed for scenarios instead of buying an unfocused mass of figures. Numerous Goblins surround opponents while Captains provide decisive Might, a Shaman supplies limited magical support and the drum bolsters combat and Courage. Cave Trolls add power but need protection from arrows and encirclement. A compact, darkened palette, quick drybrushing and broken-stone bases keep the whole army visually coherent.

Origins of the Grand Tournament

Jervis Johnson remembers promoting the first Grand Tournament when a two-day Warhammer gathering was an unfamiliar proposition.
