Graham McNeill builds three linked missions around Mark Jones’s Chapter keep scenery. Dark Eldar first raid recruits, then a downed flyer’s relics become contested, before a Chaos-backed assault reveals the Alpha Legion’s wider conspiracy. Results from the opening games alter the final battle’s obstacles or attacking deployment advantages. Alternative force guidance lets other collections use the escort, recovery and fortress-fighting structures.

Adam Troke revises the small-warband campaign in response to reader feedback, giving each starting company a lieutenant and two lesser heroes. A new bow limit restrains shooting-heavy forces, and separate Fighting, Shooting and Leadership skills offer more control over advancement. The complete post-game sequence covers injuries, experience, influence, equipment and ratings, with updated Warg Rider and Rohan companies demonstrating the revised framework. Existing collections can adopt the changes without discarding their histories.

Kemmler’s growing legions overwhelm the forest spirits’ earlier resistance, forcing the Elves to assemble despite Orion and Ariel’s winter dormancy. Sceolan leads Eternal Guard against the Lichemaster and dies to Krell, but leaves Kemmler grievously wounded. His flight breaks control of the dead, allowing the forest’s defenders to destroy the army. Krell alone escapes into the woods, leaving victory costly and the larger threat unresolved.
