LORE·WHITE DWARF 310

Scum

October 2005·p. 98

THE SHORT VERSION

Most Gnoblars belong to an impoverished majority doing undesirable jobs around the camps. They hope to enter a prestigious servant group or become an Ogre’s pet, but even savings offer little security when hired guards may prefer theft. Hidden shiny trinkets and claims of poverty are therefore survival strategies. The portrait explains why apparent wealth and ambition can be liabilities in a society without dependable protection.
