Building the Model: Stonework and Finishes

October 2005·p. 49

THE SHORT VERSION

A pen scores dressed stone into the foamboard walls, while a grid in card produces the upper floor’s tiles. Separate foam stones and glued grit fill debris piles around the columns. Roughcoat receives grey and white drybrushing with green streaks, and spare Warg Rider weapons add coloured wood and metal details. The finishing sequence keeps the recognizable Númenórean architecture visible beneath its weathering.
