RULES·WHITE DWARF 310

Chapter Approved: Kill-team Nemesis

October 2005·pp. 64–71

THE SHORT VERSION

Andy Hoare and Phil Kelly add an end-of-mission opponent inspired by computer-game bosses. The defender sacrifices Brute squads for a concealed Nemesis, which appears after the Kill-team reaches its objective and must be defeated before victory can be claimed. Seven flexible archetypes cover machines, mutants, daemons, psykers and ghosts, each restricted to suitable factions. An extensive conversion gallery demonstrates how the same rules can represent very different creations.
