Might and Heroic Actions

October 2005·pp. 36–38

THE SHORT VERSION

Might is most valuable when it saves a hero, turns a failed wound into a kill or changes the timing of a crucial action. Heroic moves secure charges, objectives or Stand Fast; shooting can remove an enemy before it attacks. Heroic combat can break through to a banner or slingshot a fighter onward, but fails if even one opponent survives. Troke cautions against speculative shooting bonuses and combats that the hero cannot realistically finish.
