Equal blue and yellow portions are kneaded until no streaks remain, then pressed into the conversion’s gap. Murray allows the putty to begin hardening before shaping it so it does not simply squeeze out elsewhere. A wet-looking, smooth blend into the existing surface conceals the join, and the finished captain examples suggest progressing from basic filling to new hair and other small details.
