Marneus Calgar’s Land Raider
October 2005·pp. 56–59
THE SHORT VERSION
David Rodriguez gives the tank layered plasticard arches, rod pillars, sculpted Gauntlets of Ultramar and eagle motifs assembled from several kits. Large drawings are reduced onto printable transfer paper to represent Calgar’s victories, while scripture is painted by hand. Brown chalk shades the blue hull and multiple gold layers highlight its decoration. The result is intended to look like a revered mobile temple carrying the Chapter Master and his guard.
