Building and Painting Balin’s Tomb
October 2005·pp. 32–33
THE SHORT VERSION
Removing a long side from each half of the box creates two matching room sections that can be joined for play or stored separately. Six-centimetre ledges leave openings for the doorway and layered foamcard stairs, while rubble masks construction gaps. Black spray, two greys, Rotting Flesh and brown in the corners give the board a rich worn finish before the boxed scenery is placed.
