The Order of the Black Bear
October 2005·p. 121
THE SHORT VERSION
The Black Bears of Averland channel boisterous energy into tournaments that test drinking as well as martial skill. Their official foundation story celebrates bear-wrestling, although rumours suggest a tavern supplied the name. Unquenchable Zeal expresses enthusiasm and Fractious captures its disruptive side. Brass-highlighted black armour and red cloth provide the compact paint scheme accompanying this deliberately unruly Order.
