Battle at the River Ford

THE SHORT VERSION

Dave Allen hires Ogre Leadbelchers to strengthen his Orcs before meeting Asger Granerud’s Daemons in the Fall of Kjell Redfist river-crossing scenario. Initial shooting hurts the daemons and the Trolls resist a chariot, but poor morale and terrain leave the Orcs vulnerable to concentrated charges. Asger turns the intended pincer against Dave, breaks the Trolls and overwhelms the surviving units. Dave retreats to the Blood Pyramid, while Asger concedes that the report understates his opponent’s bad luck.
