MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 306

Leaping Hormagaunts

June 2005·p. 26

THE SHORT VERSION

A Gargoyle body attached to a normal round base by its curled tail supplies the height for a Hormagaunt that appears to leap over an opponent. The tail is bent to bring the centre of mass above the base, which is weighted underneath, then Hormagaunt limbs and forward-reaching scything talons are added. A few such models in each brood create the impression of a cascading attack without rebuilding every miniature.
