Evolved

THE SHORT VERSION

Jes Goodwin explains the Tyranids as evolving alien dinosaurs rather than literal insects, with six limbs, forehead plates, breathing spiracles and weapon-bonded claws linking generations of sculpts. Genestealers retain clues to human ancestry and an optional tentacled head recalls the original Ymgarl creature. The Hive Tyrant becomes a more characterful commander, while the plastic Carnifex provides the swarm’s tank equivalent and enough components to echo the original Screamer Killer.
