The Chronicle of Itza (Abridged)

THE SHORT VERSION

An in-world chronicle recounts the successive spawnings, construction of Itza, collapse of the polar gates and struggle against Chaos before turning to Elven arrivals, Skaven infestation and the era of Sotek. Translator Mendoza adds uncertain interpretations and eager speculation about treasure, providing a human counterpoint to the Lizardmen’s cosmic history. The manuscript ends abruptly and its illegible or incomplete passages preserve uncertainty about prophecies, rather than presenting a definitive scholarly account.
