Painting the Soldiers of Khemri

March 2005·p. 103

THE SHORT VERSION

Stephen’s skeletons begin with a white undercoat and brown ink wash, followed by repeated white-and-bone drybrushing. Black establishes the metal areas before brass is added, the bow receives a brown coat, and sand painted in warm browns completes a repeatable recipe for rank-and-file Khemri troops.
