Coastal Raids
December 2004·pp. 154–157
THE SHORT VERSION
Mat Ward revises river-assault mechanics for coastal landings, covering drift, crew-controlled boats, boarding, collisions, swimming and sinking. A flexible raid framework then varies deployment, end conditions and special events, allowing prepared defences, flanking parties, bombardments or hazardous winds to create different stories on the same shoreline.
