Gav Thorpe presents Storm of Chaos as the first of a planned series of campaign sourcebooks. Narrative, variant armies, heraldry and scenario material are intended to make a specific conflict playable beyond isolated battles. Designers then explain the ten army concepts, including Archaon’s mortal horde, Middenheim, Slayers, Eshin assassins, Sylvania and Daemonic Legions. Their choices connect background restrictions to distinct tactical identities, while the global campaign map gives reported battles a shared objective.
