The Matriarchs of the Orders Militant

THE SHORT VERSION

Six short biographies explain the founders behind the major Orders Militant. Dominica, Katherine, Silvana, Lucia, Mina and Arabella acquire distinct reputations through their actions, martyrdoms and relics. Those stories establish the names and visual symbols inherited by their orders. The page also shows how the Sisterhood’s collective history is preserved through devotional accounts rather than a single uniform founding legend.
