Border Patrol: Death to Life!
December 2003·pp. 52–54
THE SHORT VERSION
Matt Anderson uses a Border Patrol campaign as the incentive to build a manageable Tomb Kings force. A converted Liche Priest, a regiment of Skeletons and three Ushabti provide a small collection that can later grow into an army. The painting account develops bleached bone, turquoise, cowhide shields and metallic details, while an unsuccessful verdigris experiment leads to dark green stone constructs. His explanations connect the limited roster, assembly decisions and painting workload to getting the army into play.
