Building Imperial Defences
September 2003·pp. 20–23
THE SHORT VERSION
Adrian Wood follows Mark Jones’s construction of the prefabricated defences shown in the new Imperial Guard codex. Templates, card walls and foamboard floors create repeatable barricade sections, with tape and glue reinforcing the joins before damage and texture are added. A dark-to-grey drybrush scheme separates concrete walls from earth, and variations raise parapets, shelter a tank or become a guard tower. The modular pieces can be rearranged into different defensive layouts.
