PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 284

Fellbeast Masterclass

August 2003·pp. 120–121

THE SHORT VERSION

Tammy Haye follows the ’Eavy Metal process for assembling and painting the Ringwraith on Fell Beast, with pinning and separate preparation making the large kit easier to handle. Flesh-grey mixtures, layered highlights and ink glazes build the creature’s skin and membranes, while the rider uses restrained grey highlights and weathered black robes. The guide also covers the accompanying Frodo model, including his clothes, face, metallic details and a base that matches the larger display.
