Hobby Hacks: Mossy Scenery
April 2026·p. 95
THE SHORT VERSION
Dan offers a quicker scenery scheme that remains compatible with Andrew’s Ghyran terrain. A pale zenithal layer over black is shaded with diluted Militarum Green, then drybrushed, while the ground follows the same greens as his army bases. Stippled moss adds another layer of vegetation, and the explicit use of Contrast Medium keeps the stone’s wash translucent rather than obscuring the lighter foundation.
