THE SHORT VERSION

Maxime C organises a pet pageant after a wall of real studio-pet photographs inspires a miniature equivalent. Loose entry requirements allow friendly animals, grotesque companions and dangerous near-pets from across the ranges. Humorous awards recognise conversion work, appearance, menace and charm, offering a low-pressure event that a hobby group can reproduce.

Your Warhammer

Readers share a lovingly updated 1990 Ork Battlewagon, an elaborate Warhammer-themed fortieth birthday and a permanent tattoo celebrating issue 500. Andrew Park’s vehicle blends its classic frame with modern market parts, Battlewagon components and old sporting assistants, showing how old and new kits can support one coherent nostalgic project.
