Brush Tips: Prince Vhordrai
May 2025·pp. 80–81
THE SHORT VERSION
Tom makes Vhordrai’s red armour look lacquered and blood-bright to elevate him above ordinary Blood Knights and contrast with dusty Deathrattle metal. Shordemaire’s warm, decaying green flesh shifts towards blue-green wing membranes, echoing the army’s verdigris. Detailed colour sequences cover the rider’s armour and cloth, shields, brass, bone and the dragon’s skin and exposed organs, preserving clear separation between rider and mount.
