THE SHORT VERSION
Doug builds his Death Guard armour with airbrushed light over Mournfang Brown, followed by Plaguebearer Flesh and warm recessed shading. Oil paints deepen the darkest areas before individual details are finished. Mortarion shares the armour method, but the wings use bright magenta and blue over a black-and-white preparation, creating a vivid centrepiece against the army’s weathered greens.
