Glory Points: Nemesis Deck Building

May 2025·pp. 84–89

THE SHORT VERSION

Louis explains Nemesis as a combination of two Rivals decks, with a twelve-card objective deck and a lean power deck supporting consistent draws. He recommends choosing a primary deck around a warband’s Inspire condition, then a complementary deck that fills gaps, balancing easy scoring with a few high-value opportunities rather than chasing every possible combination.

Borgit’s Beastgrabbaz demonstrate the process with Edge of the Knife and Pillage and Plunder. Low-health grots exploit tempered status, Delving both inspires and scores, and mobility cards support the trophy mechanic and lethal-hex tricks. The walkthrough follows opening upgrades, coordinated attacks and late-game repositioning, showing how the deck’s parts serve a coherent plan.
