Combat Patrol: The Gloeming Blades

THE SHORT VERSION

Phlegmus Gloem leads five Plague Marines, ten Plaguebearers and three Plague Drones, with Nurglings available through the Festerflute enhancement. The mixed patrol uses an expanding contagion aura to reduce enemy movement, morale and objective control. The Marines provide fire support and objective security while daemons exploit lethal hits and the Drones’ ability to improve wound reliability against a marked target.

Gnawslop strengthens the Surgeon’s melee weapon, whereas Festerflute adds a disruptive reserve unit. Secondary objectives reward spreading contagion over objectives or occupying different battlefield regions, and stratagems improve accuracy, empower daemonic blades and make enemy retreats dangerous. Bespoke datasheets and roster advice complete the playable patrol.
