THE SHORT VERSION

Matt works on the Ballistus in four main pieces—legs, torso and two arms—and paints the metal before returning to the yellow plates. Leadbelcher, Nuln Oil and a Stormhost Silver drybrush establish the machinery, while a broad red shoulder stripe identifies Garadon’s Third Company. The order of work combines access to hidden details with an uncomplicated metallic recipe.
